Featured status

The Featured status is the ultimate way to promote your community event or garage sale!

What does Featured status mean?
If your garage sale or community event has Featured status, it will be displayed prominently at the top of our page for the week and will remain there.
Featured garage sales may even be posted on our Facebook timeline, while Featured community events could be featured on our Front Page. This is the best way to promote your event and get maximum visibility.

How do I get Featured status?
To get Featured status for your garage sale or community event posting, please follow these steps:

1. Post your event on Rockland Page as a registered member or guest and wait for approval if posted as a guest.
2. Share a public post on your public Facebook page with the link to your Rockland Page posting.
3. Provide us with the link to your Facebook post by either entering it on your event page or using the Contact page to email us.
4. Your event will become a candidate for Featured status, and on Sunday nights, we will select three garage sales as the Featured events from the pool of candidates.
5. If there are more than three candidates, Featured status will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
